Scomparsi in Ucraina

Guram Chichinadze, a 41-year-old Georgian mercenary, was captured by Russian forces on February 27, 2024, after fleeing from a failed Ukrainian mission near Nova Kakhovka. He had joined the war on the Ukrainian side after living in Ukraine prior to the conflict. He gave a video statement describing the mission and his capture, and expressed a desire not to be exchanged.
